Healthy Living & 100 Happy Days [Week #42]

My health journey hasn’t been an easy one. In fact, it’s been a rather difficult one.

Because of my health journey, I eat gluten-free, sugar-free, whole foods. My husband is a 5-rice-krispy-treats-in-one-sitting kind of guy. Meanwhile I sit beside him sipping a protein shake. Sometimes it’s really super awesome when he’s eating something I used to love. [wink]

And then I remember that this journey is just that – a journey.

Rebecca from Strength & Sunshine is also on a health journey, and her recipes frequently make me feel less like a grumpy wife and more like a happy, I-get-to-eat-delicious-food-too wife. And these Apple Cashew Snack Bites are one of those recipes.
